Windows to go on sd card

    Windows to go on sd card


    Ok I have a church friend who is 150 years old using a win 7 dell laptop which I have
    on occasion had to repair for her (main uses email and skype video).
    This was from the ms sticker a win 8 computer downgraded to win 7.
    She declined my offer to upgrade (as she says "I'll probably dead tomorrow, no sense in it")
    So I was thinking of "windows to go" on a sd card (the computer is capable of booting off it).
    that way she could experience win 10 without installing it.

    anyone have thoughts on this?
    I have a 200 gig micro sd it install it on.

    As stated, Windows on an SD card, Or USB drive will run way slower then if it is on an internal HDD/SSD. Since she doesn't care or want it, why do it?

    Make sure that she has the KB4493132 update installed - maybe she'll change her mind when she gets fed up with the persistent nagging
