    Windows 10 hanging/freezing 10-20 seconds

So recently after one of Windows 10 updates that I had installed probably about a week or two ago windows 10 has been hanging on the login screen when I enter my password it just spins and says logging in, for upwards to 30 seconds then finally logs into the desktop. Sometimes applications and other windows become unresponsive I am able to navigate between the windows on the task bar but things aren't fully loaded and I can't open new windows ctrl+alt+tab does not work until 10-20 seconds later after then everything starts loading dramatically, opens task manager, opens the application I was trying to open.

Normally happens on boot up after it does its wonky thing everything is fine. Any ideas would be helpful thank you.

Is your SSD almost full? With those specs, I'd expect everything to be very snappy, only thing I can think of is either your OS can't trim anymore from your SSD, or you've got a faulty sata cable (providing you're using the Adata drive as your OS drive)

    Statement from Avira

Why does my system run very slow?

We could reproduce the described behavior.
This is occurring because of a current Windows Update.
Our development is working on a solution.

    Hi @XxSwiftyxX

Can you record a boot trace so we can see what's causing this issue? here are the steps:

    1. Download and Install windows Performance Toolkit https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...ed/adk-install . Choose the package corresponding to your Windows version.
    2. Just install the "Windows Performance Toolkit" package.
    3. Record a trace using Windows Performance Recorder using these options: https://justpaste.it/1g4sx
    4. Very important: Compress the resulting filess (The .ETL file + .NGENPDB folder)
    5. Share the trace through https://www.transfernow.net/en/ or any other file sharing platform.
