    Adhesive labels for optical discs are a world of hurt. Don't use them. They interfere with rotational stability by adding weight to the disc and making it unbalanced.

    Nero CoverDesigner is free from Nero (well, free as in 'give us an email address').

    CD Stomper used to be the go to brand with it's own label applicator, but they have gone out of business. You can download their software from other places, but try this instead: https://www.nchsoftware.com/cdlabele...saAsIoEALw_wcB

    SureThing has sold CD/DVD labeling software for a long time -- but I don't believe they have a free version.

    Hi there

    @dafydd
    epson has FREE print CD labels software --- don't use adhesive labels though on the media -- thin plastic is fine though - you can attach adhesive to the plastic rather than the CD itself.

    Epson Print CD - Download

    Personally though if you have a reasonable amount of storage why not just rip the CD's / DVD/s to .iso's on your computer with software such as AnyDVD or similar.

    Cheers

    Software discs do not require separate software to rip them, you just copy the files from the CD and paste them into an aptly named folder on your computer or external drive. I have done this for all of my software CD's.back in the day.

    Here's my DVD label maker. It works like a charm.
