- After about two years of WinDefener/MSE's capture results sliding progressively worse, MS finally came out and said at some point in 2012 that they consider it to only be 'also ran' software, and that consumers should still buy a real antivirus. Most people don't want this, and were previously very happy when Win Defender/MSE was capable, didn't slowdown their systems during updates and scans, and didn't nag them in general.whs, post: 10222, member: 58 said:
- Many people dislike how Windows Live Movie Maker changed the old Windows Movie Maker software.
- Animating gifs was taken-out in Vista if I remember correctly for the default windows explorer 'windows photo viewer' software, or whatever other names it's had over the past few years. XP's 'Fax and Picture Viewer' worked just fine with animated gifs, but MS decided to cheap-out on paying the liscence for gif files.
