Can you disable the task view feature?

Is it possible to disable this annoying feature, so it won't appear if i accidentally click the windows key and tab simutaniously?

You could, e.g., reallocate that hot key using, for example, a one line script in Autohotkey (free)

I believe there are also freeware programs that can do this- I can't currently recall they name.

There's also this from MS (not tried it)

If you have no means of invoking it, it's effectively gone.

Yes, but im not a big fan of tweaking the registry. I did your steps though, but it doesn't seem to work. It still shows the task view.
