Unable to delete anything inside Documents folder

    Hi Ten Forums,

I am unable to delete anything inside Documents folder. Using keyboard of right clicking>delete. I can delete in other locations, desktop, downloads, pictures, music, etc........ but not in Documents.

A system restore point back in February seemed to fix it for a few weeks, but after some system updates to the problem has returned.

I am the Administrator and only person using the computer.

Any ideas, or things to check I would really appreciate the advice. Thank you!

Right click on the Documents folder and select Properties. What does the Target field show?

Thank you for the response. Is this what you were looking for? I don't see Target under any other tab. Unable to delete anything inside Documents folder-properties.jpg

That's good. It shows that the Documents you are looking at is stored on your OneDrive folder. That is not the same as

    C:\Users\Owner\Documents

Open the C:\Users\Owner\Documents. See if you see them there and can delete them.

Don't look in the C:\Users\Owner\OneDrive\Documents folder.
