Can items in Recently Viewed Nodes in Event Viewer be deleted somehow

    Can items in Recently Viewed Nodes in Event Viewer be deleted somehow


    Hi. I saw this question posted a long time ago and was unanswered. I would like to know if there is a way to remove entries in the Event Viewer under Recently Viewed Nodes. Thanks.

    There doesn't seem to be any application menu which allows deleting of individual items from that list. It only seems possible to clear the whole list by deleting its ONE associated file ( its called RecentViews under C:\Users\....\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Event Viewer\ ) in File Manager.
