How can I edit a shellex label on context menu?

I'd like to change the text of a context menu:

I know also the exact ShellEx that added it including its CLSID... Is there a way to change those labels or are them hard-coded somewhere in the ShellEx dll itself?
Already tried a bunch of apps to edit shell extensions but they are only able to add/remove/disable entries.

Hi, here's one approach, starting from a file type:

Example: file type ahk - context menu Run Script.

Use Filetypesman (free) - here I've double clicked 'Open' and you can see the context menu entry Run Script- with the option to edit it.

Of course, where it's feasible, you could simply search the registry for the registry for the text you want to change.

The tool shown above is merely a convenience in that respect.

However, not all such text is necessarily available.

Yes, I used same approach with 3rd party tools and searched through the registry but didn't find the label text...

Anyway I've found the localization files used by that specific shell extension and modified that, and it worked

There used to be a program (Win 7) that could search the entire registry for a particular phrase
and then Show All the results at one time instead of one then click next.
You could delete batches . I remember using it delete a virus program.
I can't remember the name however

O&O regedit (free) does that, for example- the point is that for some programs, the text in question is not in the registry.

But didn't help: that string was not in the registry. Looks like the extension loads it on the fly from the localization file in the installation dir of the program, because changes were applied in real-time...

I still have an issue with my Context Menu "New" hanging up; when will MS-13 fix that one?

I think you are talking about RegSeeker.
