Haha yea... I had my syndromes mixed up. But who know, it could also as well be a remix. A person who has ADHD could turn OCD after seeing the the blinker going at an infinite rate.

And you're right, it's weird how non-Microsoft products have their own programming of having the cursor blinker go at an infinite rate. I used to think it was all part of the system; the system decides how many times the blinker goes for. I just made that connection today.

I guess I thought it was that way because back in the day, every single program's blinker was infinite.

    Ah!
No worries, I only lost sleep the first couple of weeks I noticed the cursor quit blinking in certain applications!

Any solution for cursor not blinking after a time?

I found the blinking cursor helpful when editing a doc, referring to another doc and then returning to the original for more editing; but the cursor had stopped and I had to find the stopping point in order to resume my editing.

I suspect there must be a registry hack to fix this, but I've not found that anywhere. And I don't have the expertise to figure it out.

If there is a solution, I'd like to have it.

(This is not life-threatening, but it is frustrating.)
