    Random files in all directories


    Hello,

    All over the desktop and in random folders on my USB stick I have XSL stylesheet files. The seem like Office/World style templates. If I delete them they reappear when office is opened.

    I tried to repair office but it doesn't seem to help.

    Any ideas why these are being generated in all folders and how to stop them.

    Some anti-ransomware softwares use those kinds of files as honeypots. Did you install such software?
