Lets try this another way. Those aren't the error you are looking for.

Click Start (lower Left), type reliability history, an app should come to top of list. Click it. Reliability History starts. There will be a collection of symbols. Red X for errors, yellow triangles for warnings, blue circles for Information. Click once on each. In the pane below you will see more detailed information. You are looking for your error code, 0xc0000142. When you find it click view technical details. Screen print the technical details, hopefully that will tell us app.

G/Day KEN, I did as you said but there seems to be more than one Problem:Windows Update Failed, BING Translate, DELL Support Assist, they are all over the events Log?
I hate that Bing just keeps installing itself same with CHROME if you try to up date or Install CCleaner?? and Microsoft and its constant asking for passwords' have not helped, and DELL has a Local, Local Low & Roaming APP all of it's own This is WAS a new DELL PC? Anyway Mate' I have done all I can to find what you said but to be honest I have not got a clue what I am looking for? And through all the Details clips I have sent' nowhere is the Error Code 0xc0000142?
Okay so I have had my Little Rant' It does not mean I don't appreciate what you have done for me Ken and I have learnt a Lot from your advice so here's the pics Mate Regards Dasha

I think at this point I would run the inplace repair. Believe you stated sfc /scannow is not reporting any integrity issues.

Do you what was installed / changed Mar 16 or 17th.

You have a red x for every day since then.

The inplace repair is supposed to be non destructive but I always suggest you back up your data.

The tutorial looks long and complicated, it isn't. Basically make a bootable USB thumbdrive, set the BIOS, double click on setup on USB boot media.

Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade

I have been meaning to ask... do you pay for your photos to be stored on Google Photos? If not your photos are being compressed and with it some quality is lost. Download one and check out the size.

Would be really good what happened over the weekend of the 16th. Something changed, big time.

There is some general fix for this issue which will guide you to fix this error code without paying anyone, you can easily follow the given fixes with specific instructions/steps and encounter the required results easily.
    Reboot your PC.

Normal restart of the system will end the ongoing process and all the system files will get closed, the restarting system will reopen those files and application giving this error code 0xc0000142 may get solved by re-opening the system files.

    Fix: Reinstall application.

Reinstall the application giving this error code 0xc0000142, sometimes the application installed in our pc lost its files due to which it gives error while opening. Try checking this fix if error code 0xc0000142 is solved or not.
    Access the troubleshooter.

Navigate yourself to the windows settings > update and security > troubleshoot.

    Troubleshoot > windows update.
