W10 just forced an update on me....
Lost my font settings, lost my desktop image, and now all the virtual desktops are on top, I need them on the bottom again, there is no setting...
I have a big screen and moving mouse to top is a pain in the ass...
Any solution for this?
How about rolling back the updated that caused this?

This could be problematic, you'll also skip security and other updates. Don't know for sure, but it has been like a year ago when Task view starts behaving like this.
It started with introduction of Timeline, before it was possible to select virtual desktop from Taskbar. I was using it like you do, now I'm using keyboard shortcuts mostly.
You can check which update was (Settings / Updates / updates history) I've checked and it was April 2018 feature update. So, you basically can't skip it
Well, I'm using Dexpot now, it's like 1000000 times better.

Was using couple of utilities before Windows 10, but since Windows 10 introduced their own virtual desktops, it messed up with other apps. Now I'm used to keyboard shortcuts. Don't really need more than moving left and right quickly..Well, I'm using Dexpot now, it's like 1000000 times better.
