    How remove _Getintopc from desktop

I have an icon for _Getintopc.com on my 8093 desk top that I want to get rid of. It apparently was put there when I dl'd a copy of Minitools PC Wizard. If I select it and try to delete it I get told I can't do that because it is open in System. I tried to move it off the desktop but get told the same thing.

How can I rid myself of this useless and unwanted thing?

    Thank you.

If you got partition wizard from anywhere other than the official site: MiniTool Partition Wizard | Best partition magic alternative for Windows PC and Server then it may have come bundled with malware or other unwanted things..

I'd run a scan with AdwCleaner as a matter of urgency.

    Thank you, Bree!

I've used Malwarebytes for years. How does AdwCleaner differ from it?

    Thanks again.

If nothing else works you may use a very brutal tool called Unlocker. I use it on rare occasions, but sometimes I have no time / choice to search for more subtle ways.

They now bundle unwanted stuff with downloads from their own site - Avast at the moment.

Why do you consider Unlocker brutal? It works within the bounds of Microsoft access control? It has never caused me a problem. I install it on every PC I work on as a matter of course. Just my $.02 worth.
