    Corrupted Fonts

    Hello everybody,
I was hoping someone might have some idea as to what the heck is going on with my fonts. They are continually shapeshifting with pieces of the font randomly dissapearing and then rebuilding. I have a screenshot but it will be interesting to see how this post comes through because at the moment most of this message is affected.
    Thank you for any assistance.

Hi, I'm having the same issues as Chay1867. There was an automatic update today and the font has been gobbledygook since. Can anyone please help with this issue?

Well try adjusting clear type like I said in other thread. (Go to "Control Panel" > "Fonts" > "Adjust Clear Type Text" and follow prompts)

IDK if it will work as Chrome is OK for me but it seems a common problem and it is definitely some font issue. Certainly worth a try.

If applicable to the drive, this method could be tried after you have exhausted the typical troubleshooting steps:

Sometimes for failed Windows upgrades with UEFI/GPT partition structure, all fonts are temporarily removed to allow the upgrade. After a successful Windows upgrade the fonts are automatically reinstalled.

If the font problems are related to only one browser consider backing up bookmarks, uninstalling, and reinstalling the browser.

    In addition you can try:

    • Stop Windows Font Cache service in services.msc.

    • Run C-Cleaner System / Font Cache option.

    • Start Windows Font Cache service again.

If you have Ccleaner installed it's possible that you'd need CCEnhancer to see the font cache option.
