"File Exists" Error When Creating New Folder in Explorer
Got an odd one for you:
A user is in File Explorer, right-clicks, and tries to create a new folder. She gets an error that says File Exists.
There is already a folder called New Folder in the folder that she's currently in. As well as a New Folder (2), New Folder (3) etc. If I delete the folder called New Folder, and she tires again, it works, and Windows creates another folder called New Folder.
But why isn't it sequentially creating the next New Folder (#) in line, the way its supposed to?
This is on a mapped network connection to an FTP, if that matters. But numerous other users connect to that same FTP, and none are having this problem.
Any ideas?
