    Shift+Restart not wotking 17763 1809

Not sure when this started but pressing Shift+Restart no longer allows me to get to Advanced boot options for Safe Mode. I don't know if this started with the initial 1809 17763.1 FU or not but it's been awhile. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas how to fix?

I don't want to repair of clean install since the 2019 Spring (1903?) FU will be out in a month or two but willing to try other things.

I have the Safe Mode context menu addition via Brink's tutorial so it's not a real problem, just annoying.

    Hi, fine on mine 17763.316.
Has your Recovery partition perhaps gone walkies?
Or are you clicking Restart in some 3rd party prog? (Just discovered it doesn't work from Start Menu X's 'Restart', whereas Open Shell's is ok).

    Recovery partition is okay:

Doesn't work from Start menu. Have not tried Win key+X or Ctrl+Alt+Del. I'll do that in a minute.

Works on Win+X and Ctrl+Alt+Del. Does not work from Start menu. Very weird. I'll submit a feedback.

    Thanks.

Hmm - I'm (almost) sure it will after the next upgrade. Well, probably, or at least possibly.

If not I'm willing to clean install then, just not at this time.

Sure.. you know the options.. re-registering the start menu, is it the same in a new user profile, in-place upgrade repair... but if it's a minor inconvenience, not worth the effort. And it's hardly a feature you'll need that often, so yes, leave it 'til you upgrade.
