Unable to open files on flash drive

I recently purchased a new computer and when I attempt to open any of the files from a flash drive, I get an error message "The parameter is incorrect"

Try the flash drive on another computer. If that fails then the flash drive may be damaged.
If it works on another computer run Check Disk on the Flash Drive.
Take note of the Drive Letter. Open an Elevated Command Prompt type the drive letter of the drive (ie) H: and press enter (ie) H:/> here type chkdsk /R and press enter. If it completes then put it into the new computer and try to open the files.

Here is a screen shot of results. I have added two new files to same drive using this computer and they open as they should. The ones not working were uploaded using old one. I might add in the past, I have been able to use pictures on my iPhone as attachments, now when I attempt, I get an "Ah Snap" error message. I have followed all instructions to fix but still getting that message.
