    Having a sporadic error, LiveKernelEvent.

Ok I give up, this is more frustrating then its worth anymore. It is stressing me out to where I am starting to physically hurt. I have gotten this 3x now.

    Problem signatureProblem Event Name: LiveKernelEventCode: 141Parameter 1: ffffb18e2c69f460Parameter 2: fffff8007f280958Parameter 3: 0Parameter 4: 17c0OS version: 10_0_17763Service Pack: 0_0Product: 256_1OS Version: 10.0.17763.2.0.0.256.48Locale ID: 1033

I have no idea why, in the event viewer I have this.

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

However I was on the machine it did not shut down, I have no crashes or BSOD. I was using MSI afterburner. adjusted fan speed went to hit apply and the entire system soft locked. Eventually I got it back.

    Hi rinji07 -

Set the MSI Afterburner back to normal defaults.
Don't push that GPU just yet.

Alright I gave it a look over, Here is what was performed.

1, removed mouse and uninstalled it
2, Removed headset and installed it.
3, Checked for updates to Windows and nothing was found system up2date.
    4, Clean boot was performed.
5, MSI Afterburner was only being used to adjust fan speed on the 1080TI but was set back to default was requested.
6, Attempted to redownload a fresh windows install to USB, however the Media Creation Tool gets stuck at 65%
7, Video card driver wasn't touched due to yesterday I removed them with DDU in safe mode and did a fresh install of 399.24 the least problematic for my card as of late. ( 4xx.xx drivers are a mess )

Found something else in the event viewer, Wasn't under critical however and happened at the exact same time of the soft lock.

The description for Event ID 14 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer. If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event. The following information was included with the event: \Device\Video30ac0(2f10) 00000000 00000000The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

    OK.

    Something amiss with the video.

Have you cleanly uninstalled the GPU software and drivers and rebooted so W10 can detect it?
I would also re-install Afterburner and then uninstall it - hopefully that would be cleaner.

    Also...

Do you have a full backup image of the system?
Do you wish to perform a clean install of W10?

Well, I am Trying to download the 1809 Image from the media creation tool however it gets stuck at 65% why? no idea just my luck I suppose. As for the other question, yes I did a DDU in safe mode clean and reboot the recommended option. I don't mind reinstalling I do not have much on the system. I just can't fathom why I would have all of these issues other then the maybe the board being bad? or faulty? I just got it and can still return it. I didn't have any issues with video on the other system but I did get that original problem in the first post. Right before I changed it out.

Do you have a clean backup image to restore?
Otherwise do a full wipe and reinstall W10 without Afterburner.

Then you can run some video diagnostics.

    Thoughts?

No backup image, I am trying to get a fresh 1809 download but as mentioned above the tool stops at 65% and sits there for seemingly ever as I have yet to see it move past that.

Do you have the original W10 install on a USB Flash Drive?
Do you have another computer to download this:

    Download Windows 10

Create Windows 10 installation media on another computer.
