    Is v1809 Reliable Now?

I've deferred upgrading to v1809 for a few months give the initial problems.

Have the main issues / problems now been sorted making it 'safe' to upgrade?

It's fine for me on 2 different laptops... an oddity related to Group Policy settings when upgrading from 1 from 1709 with Notify set. Presently pause is still enabled until -er- tomorrow- then I'll see if that sorts itself out. I did look into registry keys and got WU working again, but setting updates to deferred again set the 35 day pause.

The other one- clean installed- is fine. Both Pro.

As ever, update disk image set before upgrading.

    - and you get clipboard history... Win key + v

I'm running it on 3 machines, with another running in the Release Preview ring. No major problems on any of them. They include two home-built machines, a Surface Pro 3 (Release Preview), Lenovo ThinkPad T520. Seems to be stable enough to work.

My wife's laptop has been running fine with 1809 home. I just installed it on my Sister-N-Laws new laptop Saturday and she hasn't noticed any problems.

I'm running it on my HP desktop and my teaching HP 17" laptop and am not having any problems.

Running fine here on Desktop and wife's lappy. Take the plunge! After a good backup, of course!

OK will go ahead and update. Thanks to the keen early upgraders for your beta testing!

    You're welcome. But we'd do it anyway . . .

It fixed my machine, it installed the driver for HID Sensor Collection V2 and gave me the task bar settings I was missing.
