On my system I press the Enter key or click the mouse button a few times. Takes a few seconds to respond then it wakes up and is ready to use.

Exactly. It might take some time, but eventually the PC awakes.

How is your keyboard/mouse connected to your system? If it is USB or wireless, then the suggestions above will work. I usually use the "Shift" key on the keyboard. If your keyboard/mouse is connected via Bluetooth and your computer is in a deeper level of sleep, then it won't work. You need to press the power button on your system to get it to respond. I have seen this behavior with some laptops. I have a HP Z2 Mini desktop that also works that way. I can wake it with a USB keyboard or mouse, but not with the Bluetooth versions.

Yeah I got to press the power button sadly. Is there a way to tweak the PC to get it to wake from kb or bluetooth mouse?

Yep! Device Manager. Right click the KB or Mouse, go to the Power tab, and check off the option.

My KB and Mouse are Logitech running off a usb2.0 dongle, so we don't have quite the same setup. If you're running a Bluetooth mouse, and/or KB, check the device manager power setting for the appropriate device to make sure you don't have conflicting settings. Like Allow Power Off for BT card, and wake enabled for BT mouse.

    Example (mine)

The optinon, "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is greyed out for both the kb and bt mouse. But theres no checkmarks next to them. What do you suggest?

Check your Power setting for the Power button and see if it's set to "sleep" when pressed. If so, set to Shutdown. That might conflict. Other than that, without getting my hands on it, not much else I can think of. I'm sure you've verified you have the latest drivers.
