Somewhere along the way I lost my context menu print function

I have seen this posted many places for Adobe printing, but I don't have context menu option to print in anything; MS Word, Chrome, Firefox. I don't see it available at all.

In fact it used to have many functions I no longer see. Is there a way to reset the context menu or manually fix the print feature?

Hi, have you ever used any tool such as Shellexview (free) to disable context menu entries?

Try downloading and installing and running that and see if you see a list of entries listed as disabled.

Print is a default Windows item, so if lost suggests some sort of corruption may have occurred.

As a matter of course, try running
    chkdsk c: /scan
    and then if ok
    - both from an admin command or powershell prompt and post the result.

    What is your Windows build?
    Windows key + R, winver

Nothing found with chkdsk or sfc. Shellexview shows no extensions being disabled.

Windows version is 1809 (build 17763.316).

FWIW I may have over reacted. I now do see a context menu option for Print in Google Chrome and Adobe Acrobat. However no Print option while using Firefox, MS Word or Excel.

It may be my memory. I fresh install of Windows 10 back in November. I did not use Firefox on previous install. Maybe I am remembering wrong. I just remember a lot more context menu options than i am seeing now.

    Thank you for the help!

Hi, the context menu for those programs is specific to them. For example, in Firefox you'd use File, Print

You may be able to find an add-on that would, say, 'Print selection' etc..

Programs often add context menu entries. You may have fewer or different progs installed now- so fewer context menu options.
