    Had to take back the first laptop, the touch screen had ghost touches so I realized why I got it so cheap. The HP machines were out of my budget so I got a lower model dell and have her up and running. Thanks for all the help and advice.

    You're welcome. Just make sure she uses disk imaging and backs up routinely... you don't want a phone call and tears saying she's lost everything!
