How to disable screen overlay when using external numeric keypad?

I have a user using a touchscreen laptop (if that has any effect) who is also using an external numeric keypad.

Every time the user presses or releases a key on the keypad, there's an annoying "123" screen overlay that pops up. It's quite annoying. I've looked in keyboard settings and what I can find of accessibility options, but I can't seem to find out how to disable this.

Does anyone know how you can disable this?

I've attached screenshots of this screen overlay.

    Thanks!

    an external numeric keypad.
What is the make and model# of the Keypad?
There must be a software package installed with this numeric pad. There should be in Options or Preferences a setting to disable this. Contact the manufacturer for more info.

It's an Adesso AKB-600HB. I didn't notice any software being installed, but maybe I missed it.

    I've contacted their support.

    Thanks!

Well, sorry for the delay, anyway, I was having the same problem as you, the difference is that I knew the software and why this overlay appeared.

As it is identical to mine, I believe your laptop is from Lenovo.
In mine, I'd like to remove the overlay but keep the key functions, since the HID software is responsible for turbo mode shortcuts and keyboard backlight changes.

I have identified that the images are not simple PNGs, they are actually PNG in converted to Hex and created in "Tform".

To remove them I used Resource Hacker, opened the executable responsible for the keyboard and changed the size of the Form to 0, as you can see in the image. Then I saved and replaced the original file. (Detail, most forms are overlays)
