    Task Scheduler late


    Task Scheduler is not running tasks on time, how to fix? I have checked BIOS and the system clock and PC clock have same time.

    EDIT: I think I have found the problem. The task is to be started only if it is not already running, I opened Task Manager and the program I was trying to start was listed but not visible. Maybe a fluke, don't know.

    You can turn on history (Task Scheduler > Actions > Enable All Tasks History) and it will tell you in future when it started or why it didn't.

    I always find it odd it is not turned on by default (considering the amount of pointless information event viewer stores for example). But it isn't. One of those little things designed to annoy us I suppose...

    There are several things that Windows sets that seem to be abnormal when installed. I just had to enter a setting into the registry because they left if off.
