Allocation size issue - windows 10 - nef photos

Hello Guys,

we are desperate now and seeking for help.

We have copied photos from camera usual size is 10 gb max per folder, nef photos. Now the folders have 3TB and 5TB size on 128GB SSD disk, 1 photo have 4-9GB which is not correct and blue arrows appears (windwos compresion) When we turn it of nothing happen as it does have enough space as C drive is now on 0 free space. Anybody can help with this?

I have attached photos, it was moved, not copied and it is crucial to get them fixed , we tried to copy one photo to other PC, but the photo cannot be open even there, still 10gb.

I also can not open the files at all, nothing can open 5gb . Foto. In TreeSize free we can see actual size but still can not open.

Its a camera format, you just need a nikon codec and oyuy can open it, i can open them normally, older nef photos are ok. The problem comes witht he files, which were automaticaly compressed by windows, two arrows.

-Thanks man, i have tried to copy few of them to another PC on network, Files are uncompressed now, but with that huge size 1 photo 10gb,i have tried your infranwiew and it not even open the photo, stuck not responding, its really huge, i am going through the INTERNET some says that this was bug with automatic uncompress ,that windows udpate can repair it we had installed windows udapte today at 3pm without knowing that something gonna be ****ed. copy photos at 4-5 pm, trying to solve it for few hours, so i tried update again, and windows is now downloading whole new system, its visible in TreeSize free that hidden folder with new OS was downloaded so we are now waiting what gonna happen, then i will try to turn of decompresion manualy through cmd.

We are also now steps forward as we delete almost everything what was possible and there is now free space on C , in TreeSize we can see actual size of images 1 photo 50mb. but when trying to uncompres folder. Now enough space and still saying size 7TB which is not ****in possible. I hope windows udpate gonna solve this shit

I can't believe the size of the file I have a camera that can take 70 met images and even raw the files are no were near that size even hasblad files sent that big and there 400 meg

Guys we recover photos from sd cards. It was possible thank god! Update didnt repair anything, tried to decompres and it only delete blue arrows, file were 9gb, one photo-->insanee. Tried few compres repairs and wothout luck as well. I must say i love windows but these tricky things can be nightmare. So never move stuf always copy 😂 and always have backup of everything no matter what. Even the freshest stuff
