Typing Euro symbol in Windows 10 on Macbook Air

I'm running Windows 10 Pro version 1809 on a Macbook Air using Bootcamp. Can anyone tell me how I can type the euro symbol. I've tried all combinations and googled the problem but to no avail. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi there
when setting up via bootcamp what keyboard did you install -- try changing to Int'l English keyboard -- I think US domestic keyboard might have problems with EUR symbol.

    Cheers

    Hi there
change perhaps to English -UK or GB keyboard --just English might mean US these days !!! although some of their dialects might appear to be English from the other side of the Universe !!. Certainly not Oxford U.K !!!

    AltGr+4... does that work?

(AltGr is to the right of the spacebar.)

I found this to work. If you have a numpad try ALT + 0128. Unfortunately, it does not work using the numbers key row, only numpad will allow this combination to work. Sample: €

What keyboard, language and region settings are you using?

(Probably easier to use the old Control Panel for Language and Region settings rather than the Settings app.)

I'm using English (UK) for keyboard, English (United Kingdom) for language and English (United Kingdom) for regional format, United Kingdom for location (Location tab) and English (United Kingdom) for non-Unicode programs (Administrative tab).

Both keyboard methods above work for me so I'm guessing it's the difference between our settings.

As you're using a laptop, i.e. no numeric keypad, it should be possible to use AutoHotkey to simulate sending Alt+0128 on a non-existent numeric keypad (or perhaps AppleScript if Boot Camp can pass key combos - sorry, I have no experience with Boot Camp).

I know that AutoHotkey has been used this way with a laptop before... (Just Google autohotkey euro symbol or, for example, see https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/4847-remap-euro-key/). Easier still, Jack Dunning devoted a whole blog article to adding currency hotstrings (e.g. typing say eu* and having this hotstring changed automatically to the € symbol.

    Hope this helps...
