    Focus Assist Keeps Resetting


    I set Focus Assist to "Off". But when I reboot the computer, it sets it back to "Alarms only". How can I get this setting to stick?

    I believe I have found the answer. Even though I set Focus Assist to "Off", there are additional settings under "Automatic rules" (below the "Off" setting) which says to turn on Focus Assist "When I'm duplicating my display". The problem I was having was with my laptop which I normally connect to an external monitor. This was not happening with my desktop. Apparently these automatic rules override the primary setting and turn it back on. I have shut off all these rules which should resolve my problem.
