Vanishing taskbar thumbnails in Win 10

    Hello.
I have this new PC. I am new user on Windows 10.
The problem is that thumbnails/previews on taskbar of opened windows (folders, programs, pictures,.....) - the thumbnail/preview vanishes after 1-2 hours.
The thumbnail and preview of real open window is replaced with just an icon.
I have to open particular window to get the thumbnail and preview back.

I made two screenshots of a problem/bug: (I AM NOT SURE IF IT IS CALLED THUMBNAIL)

Can you please tell me what is problem called? How to fix it?

    Thank you!

Windows 7/8 do not do this! For sure.

I believe it's a 'Save Memory when Minimized' thing in Windows 10 but, it's so finicky, I'm not sure if it works properly!

You could try setting 'Save taskbar thumbnail previews' on in Advanced Performance Settings...

You could also try setting your power plan to High Performance. Not sure if High Performance plan circumvents the suspension issue but it can't hurt to try.

You do know you can stack multiple icons of the same program, right? You r taskbar is loaded with multiple instances of the same program. If you stacked them you would have one icon per program and when you pointed to it, it would then show all the windows (or tabs in some cases) that icon represents.
