    2 settings items

    hi forum,
i usually use tutorials here but i didn't find 2 of the items in the settings, so i created account to ask here, maybe someone can help, thanks in advance.
    Windows 10 enterprise x64 version 1803 or 1809 (i have both)

    1) Settings > Privacy > General > Show me suggested content in the Settings app

    2) Settings > Privacy > Activity history > Store my activity history on this device

I need to set the above 2 items in settings (disable) by using registry, only by reg or bat file.
anyone knows if the above 2 items have registry keys to set?
    thanks

Do not check those in those two areas. It creates a registry entry of either 1 or 0, depending on the box check.

    Hello HMusic,

Option 2 in the tutorial below can help you with the suggested content in Settings.

That last question is about telemetry. Plenty of info out there on it. Windows 10 Pro/Enterprise and Workstation allow cor GPO, which makes the registry entries.

hi & thanks, i have searched, this one could not find, what's cor gpo? group policy you mean? if yes, don't wanna do it from there, have to do it via registry, I know not all the settings items can be controlled through registry, but it's very time consuming to use sysinternals system monitor and search its huge result, so if anyone knows the registry key associated with this setting, please share:

sorry one forum question: why other posts than mine, have a lot of space between post and signature? that's some feature or rule or anything? :)
update: sorry nevermind, I just got that's because the table tag of html, for page, left side is the titles and tags of user, so its height is much...

You have no signature and you don`t have any badges under your name yet.

kado897 (Keith) can make you a beautiful signature if you are going to hang around, just give him some pictures and some ideas of how you want it, and he can do a great job

Hi, if you wish to identify a registry key related to a change you make, try
Regshot (free) - easy to find.
Download, install, run. Click Shot 1 ...wait (2-3 mins). Make your change. Click Shot 2 ...wait (2-3 mins).
Click Compare and you will get a HTML page categorised by changes, additions, deletions - usually 1-2 pages.

Hi AddRAM, thank you for bringing this to my attention, it's good and fair, oh and kado897, he reminded me of my Grandpa, I missed him already :)

and thank you very much also dalchina for introducing that, sysinternals system monitor is very hard to search in results, this can save me :)

UPDATE : Regshot cannot find its key, 1st I press shot 1 and do nothing, then change that value and press shot 2, then compare, return 3 items which are not that one.
