mmx, what capacity is your OS SSD?

How many partitions on your OS SSD?

Is the OS the only thing installed on that drive?
The nominal capacity is 120 GB and it contains one 110 GB partition and two small hidden partitions. There are some apps installed on C, but games etc. are on other drive.

That's interesting. The only thing our systems had in common was the page file on a different drive. Same error and Windows insists to put system managed page file on the OS partition.

Sounds like that's what they have decided at Microsoft!

    Not sure about that.

Windows will make a new default page file on C if it can't access the one you defined on another volume during boot.

I don't see this has changed.

After boot it will use the fastest one (even if you define page file on every disk). Could just be they moved that choice earlier.
