I just read this on Microsoft's Support site:

"If you’re using other antivirus or anti-malware software, see the documentation for that program to learn how to scan for viruses. Also, make sure multiple antivirus programs aren’t running at the same time. If they are, choose the one you want to run, and then disable or uninstall any others."

So it really isn't ideal to have the default security software like Defender with Malwarebytes installed also? Or is it actually OK to do so? I just want to double check this!

This is where I got the info:

" I don't think anyone here who had been a member more than two weeks would say to trust restore points more than a Macrium or Aeomi image back up. Most of us would say to not trust restore points at all. "................finally a very wise conclusion !

Has anyone seen this error before in Command Prompt? I got this after trying to run "powercfg -h off"
Unable to perform operation. An unexpected error (0x65b) has occurred: Function failed during execution.

Did you use elevated command prompt? (run as admin)

More than Couple of users here are running WD with Malwarebyte with no problem. I can ask some to confirm that, but you'll have to wait till they show up Malwarebytes will take care of all necessary settings at install.
