Highlighted text is automatically copied to clipboard, how to change? Solved

Highlighted text is automatically copied to clipboard, how to change?

By simply highlighting text it gets copied to the clipboard overwriting content already there. I think I may have set this to happen some time ago and can't now workout how I did it, or how to undo it.

Can anyone help me stop this behaviour?

Are you talking about (1) in the Operating System (explorer), (2) certain apps, or (3) a web-browser? If so, which one(s)?

    Thank you for your reply.

I just discovered its now fixed. Since posting I updated to the Windows October update (went from 1803 to 1809), and this behaviour has stopped. Before this any highlighted txt from anywhere went straight to the clipboard.
