Hey mate, I know you've been answering questions on this thread around a thousand times by now, but I have more or less the same problem but haven't been able to fix it yet with the previous solutions you've given. (I've of course tried to change the values and such to match my own disk numbers, volumes, and partitions.

I've also tried other fixes I've found on the internet, fx I've tried a bootrec solution but I always get "Access is denied" when I run the "/fixboot".

I'm currently booting the system recovery stuff off of a USB-stick, as it isn't working just straight from my windows installation.
I've got 1 m.2 nvme drive for the system (500GB), 1 m.2 nvme for fast storage, and 1 hdd for all my other storage.

The problem arose this morning. I started my PC and logged into Windows to find that everything was looking weird, the taskbar was acting up and the windows button didn't work at all. Therefore I decided to restart my PC after which I started getting problems very similar to the ones described up until now in this thread.

Here are some pictures of my diskpart. (Sorry for my dirty screen)
    list disk
    C:\boot missing-268992820_447421780095751_3441118761971920776_n.jpg
    list vol
    C:\boot missing-269372938_1310239252780691_8009808437237381706_n.jpg
Here I listed the partitions of both the volume I believe the system is on, E, and the volume that for some reason is hidden just because I thought it might be important.

It is also worth noting that whenever I run the automatic startup repair from the USB-stick and I look in the log-file, it says it believes windows boots correctly. Even though it obviously doesn't as it just stays on a black screen forever after showing the windows logo once.

Also, if I run "bootrec /scanos" it says "Total identified Windows installations: 0".

The Windows folder, aka my Windows installation, is and should be located on drive E (don't know why it's E, when the computer used to work and I could get into windows it was called C... The drive that at the moment is called C is just another nvme drive that I use for storage).

I would really appreciate the assistance, because I know I can do a clean install of Windows, but I REALLY don't want to lose everything on my system drive as I have a ton of small applications on there, and a shit ton of settings and other stuff set up so Windows looks and works the way I like.

PS. I was also contemplating just upgrading to Windows 11 to try and fix the problem, but I'm afraid that it either won't work or that I then will have problems in Windows 11 because some of my old busted Windows 10 files act up.

It sounds more like your Windows OS partition is corrupted more than just the system partition with the BCD. My feeling is that you are going to have to backup what your want to save and do a clean install of Windows. Since your never mentioned the possibility of restoring a backup image, I am assuming you never created one.

Do you think it's impossible to save it? Like I can access the files and stuff without any problems through system restore, so it can't be completely corrupted can it?

Unfortunately, in order to repair Windows, 99% of the time you have to be able to boot into the Windows that you want to repair. Normally what I do in this situation is to boot from a Macrium reflect rescue drive, save a backup image of the bad Windows partition, then do a clean install. If I need files from the old Windows install, I can mount the backup image to retrieve them.

Not clear what that means. Have you tried system restore?
