On the setup I cannot get past the spot where you need to say the phrase. It states it does not hear my mic. The mic works fine with Skype. The mic is an older Logic Tec stand mic. I have used it with the voice recorder sometime in the past.
Any thoughts for a fix?
Don't use the mic, Turn off the sound by clicking on the speaker icon then use the mouse to control the install.

I'm sorry, I did not realize you were trying to setup speech recognition, even though that is what you entered. I thought you were trying to use the microphone to install Windows 10, which is why I said to turn off the mic and use the mouse.
For speech the mic has to be on, sorry. No idea why it is not working, especially since it works with Skype. Hopefully someone else will come along that can help you.
