    Interesting comments, Microsoft always lets you know, that it will use your data and lets you disable it at will via settings or via tweaks, Google on the other hand gathers much more data, like it can read your emails and use it for whatever purpose it wants and does not let you to opt out and no one complains.

    Looks like the code on that page kills Cortana She's witty and listens like she cares. Alternative fix is just Format C: and install XP...or keep your nose clean and bore Microsoft to death.

    You don't have to kill Cortana or do all those steps on the lines of code posted there. There are actually 2 programs out there that you can manually make changes to W10 privacy and other settings:

    O&O ShutUp 10
    OO ShutUp10: download free antispy tool for Windows 10
    (if you just want to disable spying)

    Ultimate Windows Tweaker 4 Windows 10

    Includes over 200 tweaks and I like it better. Choose one of the two and disable whatever privacy settings you want, easy as cake.
