This issue needs to be discussed and out in the open, not ignored and not buried somewhere. I posted something on the MSI forum with zero results (It's been very slow and I don't anticipate anything).

Never mind drivers, it's just the larger bug in the whole process. I have to install some aftermarket software to disable unwanted updates. It's a broken process as they would say in Management.

What makes you think it is being ignored and buried here? As has been stated several times, this is not an MS or a Vendor Forum. MS does not write drivers, they test them on hardware for compatibility (WHQL) as best as possible given the myriad of possible configurations on millions and millions of machines. Honestly, you can have a good rant here all you want, and will change nothing in the real world of MS, the hardware vendors, or the software vendors. Vent if you want, we will listen, but we can't change any of that. It is what it is.

Yeah, Perfectly normal. MS installs updates and the engine drops out of the car, making it unusable until repaired. I am in IT, I can navigate around issues fairly quickly but imagine a non-IT person. A non-experienced user would have to hire some help for "my computer is not working"

Correct to Linux. They run a variant on the space station where they need the most reliability. Installing Fedora on one of my SSDs. Will keep it dual boot for now.

The "non-experienced user" running Linux/BSD would need to hire some IT guru to sit next to them for actually using the system...
