Restore all folder picture defaults at once?

Even after Adobe's "fix" for this issue, .pdf thumbnails remain a problem in 64 bit systems (ie: pretty much all of them now). Adobe Reader will finally generate thumbnails (most of the time), but they often show up as blanks in the thumbnail of the folder they are in. You can fix this of course by going to Properties > Customize > Restore Default for the folder. But that's a pain when you have a lot of them. Selecting several folders and trying this only makes the last one you picked restore its icons. Is there some way to do a bunch of them at the same time?

I just upgraded to Win 10 1809 the other day, without any problems aside from a minor one (the Quick Access pane keeps reverting to small tiles view unless you make it remember something else through View Options). But this was happening way before that and it's Adobe's issue, not Microsoft's. I've considered other viewers, but it shouldn't be necessary to do something as simple as this. Sigh...

Just like with an old car, it never happens when you show it to someone else.
