After updating my Win 10 x64 17134.471 to I see icons as below (2 tiny arrows) for all my folders/files. should I be worried? or it normal/happened to everyone? Please advise.

Even though your reply gives me a bit of relief, I'm still concerned as to why it happened (especially after windows update) as I "never" intended/implemented file/folder level compress on any of my laptops.
Should i proceed with the first link of solution as it states "This tutorial no longer works starting with Windows 10 version 1607." ?

for example, using advanced search for the last month, say, you will find discussion on compressing the OS and it happening 'randomly' for some.
