That looks like a wi-fi connection highlighted???
I just installed a new Dell G7 Gaming laptop and the wi-fi connection showed up like yours...??
this is not my laptop, I just got this screenshot to show what I mean,
I mean this option not shown in the setup, its giving me only connect through ethernet, no WiFi untill i installed the drivers, only way is to plug in the network cable no WiFi, is that normal or the computer have a problem in the WiFi Card ?
May be a hardware problem. But let it finish the install and check the Device Manager. May have to manually install driver??
May have to start over with the Dell recovery and do a new install. The Dell disc image may have been corrupt. Several possibilities.
From what I can find, the Dell G5 has a Dual band (2.4/5Ghz) Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, Miracast Intel Wireless-AC 9560 card.
The new Dell G7 that I got and installed Saturday (12/15) initially booted up with 1809.
Yes, it found the Wi-Fi in Windows 10 setup.
Thinking about this, your best option is to call Dell support for your area since this is a new PC.
