Aero Glass and Image Backup on Win 10 Query

Last time I queried both of these subjects WRT Windows 10 upgrades was when I bought a new laptop in 2015.

My findings at that time were that both had been deprecated from Windows 8.1 and 10. So I simply elected to buy my new laptop with custom install of Windows 7 Pro. Problem solved.

Fast forward to now and I'm again facing the same problem, only now it's EOL for Win 7 soon, apparently. Therefore, I'll ask the same two questions again.

Are Aero Glass and MS Image Backup available on Windows 10, yet?

    Thanks.

Only limited transparency effects (taskbar, Start menu e.g.) are available by default.

A good glass effect is available using -yes- Aeroglass- available since Win 8.1. 3rd party.

For 2-3 euros you can get a couple of licenses- transferrable- or the free version with no updates and a legend on the desktop.

This program must be uninstalled before applying a feature update, and is upgraded for each build release.
Transparent borders apply to all programs which are not implemented with custom frames.

A form of border can be applied to UWP apps: (narrow blue border):

Note the opaque area which has now been applied in these apps more recently (left pane).

MS Image Backup: Not sure what you mean. For disk imaging, MS recommends as has been said so many many times here that a 3rd party tool e.g. Macrium Reflect (free) be used. MR is recommended time and again here, used by many.

Use Macrium to make backups. A quick search on here gives you the result about Aero Glass. Aeroglass is now available up to build 1809 - Windows 10 Forums
