I don't have a reason why, but you should have another tab after Resources called Power Management. That's where you find the option to uncheck.

    Power Management

Just checked again and that is not in my list, so I guess I will still do what I have been doing and doing the Shut Down, and then pushing the power button to fully shut down the computer when it does what it can. If I don't do this the drives and fan are still running and I have a light on the console that shows that the shut down is not complere.

    Have you tried
    Start Button
    Right Click
    Scroll down
Then Click Shut down or sign out>
    Hover over >
    You will see
    Shut down
Press that and it should shut down OK
Mine takes about 30 seconds to shut down Completely

Are you sure you have the Intel Management Engine drivers from Intel installed? Someone else may know, but is it related to any power settings in the BIOS?

I have tried all the Shut Downs, Left and Right clicks. I removed the Sleep option, since once teh computer would go to sleep it had to be booted to wake up. The only thing that happens as time goes on is that the monitor is allowed to go out. When I want to shut down I do one of the Shut Downs and when the computer finishes, I hold the power button until the shut down is complete. I have this on both a custom built desktop and a laptop. My other laptop works okay. The two laptops are Win 10 home, the desktop is Win 10 Pro.

I disabled the Sleep function. I have this on both a Desktop and a Laptop, so the operation is different for each. I therefore never use the Sleep option. When I do an Shut Down I wait for the computer to finish doing it's thing and then hold down the Power button on the computer until the lights go out. My Desktop fans and drives continue to run so I hear them stop when the Power is off by holding down the button. Please, if you have any further questions, send them to me. I have worked with this setup now for many months, just a matter of doing things a little different. I help other with Win 10 and have had one other Laptop with the problem.

I can confirm that after downgrading Intel Management Engine Interface driver to 9.5 version from 11, all my shutdown issues are solved.
