I'm old enough and have long enough IT experience to remember same stuff at every OS change, since first DOS and before. I went thru Win 95 Alpha version and most other ones since very beginning or somewhat after (Vista) so comments like that are known to me since long tome ago.
When i was just starting out in life i thought i might follow my fathers path at becoming a welder. He told me to be cautious of the guy that touts his experience, ie "son i got 20 years experience as a welder". Dad told me nope- "the guy has 1 year 20 times".......

Sometimes, you have to start over. And it takes some time. Windows had reached the point where it needed to be rewritten, but rather than do this all at once, it's happening in much smaller steps.

Sometimes, when they introduce a new feature in the "new" part of the OS, they have to remove it from the "old" part of the OS, even though the new feature may not be as mature as the old one was. New versions of Windows will come much more frequently though, every 3 or 4 months, so you don't have to wait 2 years for the next OS.
    Oh yeah?
Start all over again you say. Yeah, exactly like Windows 10 did. It's nothing like Windows 8.1. I mean, nothing, literally, nothing. It's so advanced and different from it that it's clearly a BIG step in the OS world. It adds so much features I would need 2 pages of posts to point them all. It does not remove features and useful stuff from the previous OS just because. It does not.

With all due respect, you are either a genius that ought to write own OS or all of that "experience" is picked up from other people's opinions.
I'm probably a genius if you say I am. You're insulting me (but I don't really care at all, don't worry), if you think my post is a copy-paste of ideas I've been finding all over the web. I installed it on 29th of July, I used it, I fought it to make it better and customize it as I wanted, I saw it was a straight worse OS than Windows 8.1, and I rolled back.

You know what was really tough for me?
To discover new features in Windows 10. I had to visit like 9 or 10 different reviews of "W10 vs W8.1" to create a bunch of "new" improvements. That was tough.

I don't understand you. What's your point? Why you say removing features is the point?
Because Windows 8-10 are not intended to be improvements to Windows 7.

Windows 8-10 are about transitioning to a new operating system called WinRT. Anyone who expects these OS's to be a better Windows 7 are either misinformed, or living in a fantasy land. That's not what Windows is migrating to. Each new version will have fewer and fewer Win32 features. This isn't going to change. Any complaints about improving Win32 features are pointless.

Just one question, why didn't you post all of this on Windows 8 and W7 forums ? Around here is just not applicable, we already made our minds one way or the other.
Around here on this and other forums that are about W10 it's just a rant at best and trolling at worst. If anybody thinks that can make or change my mind using only words, has something else coming. We are not idiots, you know.

Yes, Count, you are absolutely right. Further, I'm at a loss as to how someone can judge an operating system by trying it out for one hour. Here's what rambomhtri said:

So the 29th of July I upgraded to Windows 10 Home from Windows 8.1, and I expected it to be better than my actual W8.1 OS. Well, it only lasted 1 hour in my laptop, because basically, I hated so much all the new interface, new ugly menus, many cool features removed, and it was not adding anything special or better to my system, that I couldn't take it. It was taking away a lot of features, plus all the problems and issues I had with drivers. I'll point out all the stuff that made me rolling back:
So . . . as I said . . . when you make up your mind on something this quickly, I say you haven't a clue as to how that judgment was made. Further, I cannot understand how one can write a ten page article with 4,929 words from one hour's experience with Windows 10!

Makes me wonder just a little bit . . .

Sums up nothing, I'm free to express my opinion about your opinion, am I not ?
It's far from that I think that W10 is perfect and I'm between first to criticize something I don't like or find wrong but I am using W10. The very moment when/if I decide it's not for me, you or anybody will not hear from me again. Should I go to let's say BMW sites and tell them how bad it was for me ?
Rants like this are clearly designed to make or change peoples minds about something, in this case W10, weather you deny it or not.

You don't understand how can I see I miss a lot of features?

May be you're not considering that Windows 10 is just a STRAIGHT copy of Windows 8.1, with little tweaks that have worsen it, and just 3 or 4 new features that really don't change anything.

You're right to express your opinion, that's totally fine and right. Me too, right?

    Or may be not?
Because you're basically saying that my post should not be here posted. A post talking about the disadvantages and lack of features of Windows 10 compared to Windows 8.1 should not be at all in a forum of Windows 10, right?

May be you are the one that don't let other people express themselves.

Rants like what? Is my first post, pointing out all the lack of features of Windows 10, a rant?
If you can't read anything that is not what you think, I told you, is not my, and our, problem. Just deal with it. And if you clearly consider it a rant, I told you not to enter post that are not saying what you think, cause then you're gonna consider them a rant.

I'm clearly saying all of this to inform people Windows 10 is worse than Windows 8.1 on 4th August 2015. You can change your mind or you can't. Just read what I say and see yourself that things you could do in Windows 8.1, you can't do it now in Windows 10.

You are free to express your personal opinion; you are not free to shove it down my throat! And that's what you're doing; if we disagree with you, you attack. Not nice at all.

Edit: Oooohhhhhhhhh, and now you're putting words into my mouth! Thanks anyway, but I can say what I mean and don't need any help with that.
