Can I transfer music from Windows 10 to iPod Touch without iTunes?

I would like if I could get some new music on to my iPod Touch and I'm wondering if I can do it in Windows 10 without installing iTunes. I don't want to install iTunes as I'm happy with Foobar2k and all the software I have at present. I'd rather not install iTunes for just transferring music.

My iPod connects fine to my laptop. When I try to view the hidden files on the iPod Touch nothing appears.

Is there a way to do this?

    Hi,
Never know but I doubt it seeing that is how apple does it by someone adding a devise and sync's through a existing apple id/ store acc.

I just checked my Win10 IP computer that DOES NOT have iTunes installed, opened a NAS drive that has an iTunes Folder that is a backup copy of a clients computer. I can play the tunes [.m4a format] in that Folder with Windows Media Player but they are are buried a couple three subFolders down, just had to look for them. But it could be I had the whole Folder, may be some licensing embedded in it that allowed the playing. I also opened .m4a files from the same iTunes Folder [subsubFolder of Music] on my Linux Mint computer and played in its default player and in VLC, no problem.

Yes, but it becomes a mess. iTunes will do airsync just fine, even if you are using your own CD's or burned CD's to upload to the iPod. You will not see the hidden files anymore, because of the changes that Apple has made to restrict that from being seen without the proper forensic software.
