    Media player icon over custom .mp4 icon can it be removed and how


    Okay here's what is going on. I downloaded a few anime episodes from a anime called The Ancient Magus Bride". The file icons look bad I want to change them all to a cover art. But once I change to cover art I have this problem with the orange "VLC Media Player Icon".

    Is there a way to remove or not to show the media player icon. Or a way to change it.

    I want a way to remove or to change the Orange Icon please. If anyone can help.

    PC is laptop running windows 10. And currently on Firefox.

    Never mind I figured it out with a little bit of tinkering. If your also wondering how this is done here is what I did Open File Explorer then click on View then on the right side click on Options - change folder and search options. Once new window opens just click View and then find "Display file icons on thumbnails" by unchecking this it will remove the orange icons. I hope this helps other out as much as it will help me.

    This is how it looks now. Media player icon over custom .mp4 icon can it be removed and how-without-orange-cones.jpg And files renamed as well. Cover Art Images was placed on mp4 files with free program called mp3tag.
