    Windows 10 search bar not showing results


    It is probably something easy and I am just being dumb but I couldn't find anything about this.

    I don't get any results either. What are you expecting to happen?
    If I use Cortana search then I see Spotify Music as a result.

    I get what looks like a file path to AppData but there is nothing about Spotify in it.

    Do you have a Spotify app or program installed? Does Spotify appear on your start menu?

    If either
    - you don't have Spotify installed
    or
    - search is broken

    then you may well not see a result.

    Does search work for other things in your start menu?

    In fact I see:

    When I enter spotify in the Cortana search area, I get this:

    which looks like it wants to install the Spotify app.

Hi. Anyone know how to fix the search function in Windows 10? It's not showing any results. So far I already tried the following but to no avail. Rebuild indexing, scannow cmd, chdsk /r,.
