Welcome to tenforums. I understand your question to be something like.. 'Could you help me restore my context menu'?
The following would help:
1. History
- how long have you had this problem?
- what happened that immediately preceded it?
2. What is your Windows build?
This can be really important, and most people don't mention it or include it in their specs.
Windows key + R, winver
3. Have you tried using System Restore? Do you have a restore point created before this started happening?
(System restore will only be available if you have specifically enabled it- also it's unreliable when restoring).
4. Do you use disk imaging, as we so often urge users to do routinely - e.g. Macrium Reflect (free) + external storage for disk images? If so, can you restore a recently created disk or Windows image?
5. To distinguish between Windows corruption and issues specific to your user profile, please create a new user for test purposes, log in as that user, and see if you see the same problem.
6. Try using Shellexview (free) to disable all non-MS context menu entries (no log off required). See if there's any change. (Note- Shellexview shows many but not all context menu entries. Autoruns (free from MS) may show more, but can be disconcerting for those unfamiliar with it).
7. Failing or lacking the above, an in-place upgrade repair install which keeps all programs, data and most settings may be necessary. Tutorial available, needs an iso matching your build.
8. Some threads suggest this can happen if short of memory.
