Follow the instructions in the links in how to use Table autofit in Word.

What exactly is not working for you? Looking at he links bro67 provided, one of the 3 suggested solutions should resolve your problem.

• Fixed Column Width — This option lets you choose a specific width for the columns you create.
• AutoFit To Contents — This option automatically adjusts the width of columns to fit the table data you enter.
• AutoFit to Window — This option resizes the table so that it fits within a Web browser window.

To apply one of the autofit options, right click the table, point to Autofit, and select one of the three options.

How do i fit text in my word 2007 table?..... does word need to be turned on

if you are not Turning Word On, how you are opening the Word 2007 Table?
