    Remove empty icon from Startup Items in Task Manager?


    I had installed Thunderbird and added it to my startup items, but it wasn't working out.

    I now have an empty icon in the Task Manager and would like to remove it. Would anyone know how please?

    Sorry I got it sorted by deleting the shortcut from here

    %Appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

    Hi, please just mark it Solved (at the top), then people probably won't look at it. Thanks.

    It should be easy to have Tbird launch at startup if you really wanted that.
