Sleep mode: Fan keep start and stop

    Hello,

I never turned off my PC, I let it fall in sleep mode. While in sleep mode, the fan start and stop every minute or two. PC could be wake up by mouse, keyboard or from external poke from Teamviewer.

What can I modify to let it cool down without a fan an keep house quiet while not much need to be done.

Does this happen even if you put your computer to sleep manually (by left-clicking on the Windows icon on the lower left and selecting "Sleep")? Or does it only happen when the computer tries to go to sleep by itself?

Perhaps it is NOT staying asleep, but instead is being awakened every couple of minutes. (Every time it awakens, the fans will restart.)

    And that we can troubleshoot.

If it is not going into a S3 sleep state, you need to check powercfg /lastwake in cmd.exe. Powercfg command-line options | Microsoft Docs Investigate Windows sleep states with the PowerCfg command - TechRepublic
