Fast startup wipes quick launch and deskbands

Every time I shutdown with fast startup turned on, the quick launch and deskbands on the taskbar disappear on the next boot. Any ideas?

    Additional:
    1) Does not happen with a restart.
    2) Hibernation is default configuration and not tweaked to conserve disk space.

I found the causes of the issue on my own.

This YouTube tip doesn't apply in my case. The tip in this thread (#11) applies, though I don't use the same software.

Read how wflint2 solved his own problem in this thread, which also applies in my case. Note how the MS people try "helping" solve the problem. The style is so typical, yet so unhelpful.

As I mentioned, I did not use the same software or BD. My anti-ransomware software was a cause; likewise, the language bar.

I don't like to keep the language bar (even when transparent) floating on the desktop, but it's either that or I have to boot without fast startup. And, I need the language bar because I switch languages.

Do you need Fast Startup? Maybe disabling that is the way to go?

I had to do away with Fast Startup before when I couldn't find the cause (turned out to be causes for my case). I prefer it now that I've fixed the issue. I will just have to get used to the floating - albeit "transparent" - language bar. I don't put/pin/post/paste anything on my desktop, you see. That's why I rely on Quick Launch.

I have something playing in mind right now. Perhaps, I'll experiment a little next.

Does Fast Startup gain you anything? Makes no difference on my PC. I boot from a SSD so I guess that's why or part of the reason why.

I get to the logon screen faster with Fast Startup. Mine is not SSD.
